Christmas in November 2008
Thomas got his mission call to...drum roll....Peoria Illinois!! He is very excited and so are we! Because he won't be here for Christmas we decided to celebrate early. Some of us dressed up for the special occasion. Shannon won the award for the most festive jingle bell sweater! We drank cider, played games and ate all night long while talking about Tom's mission plans. Somewhere in there we set up a watertable for the kids. Eli got soaked, Ava was saving all of the floating toys by throwing them overboard, Emily and Nathan were scooping water and dumping it on any toys that had not been thrown out yet while Presley continued to show them his water skills, it is his table afterall. Brian watched the football game with the older kids. Does that tell you who the older "kids" are?? This night will go into the memory book of my heart for sure!
